Default HEATED GEAR for 2

Is there enough wattage output for 2 riders? I am currently wired straight to the batt. with in-line 15a fuse for my GERBING 71w jacket liner.

Thinking about adding a Passnger Harness if theres enough wattage to handle.
04' FLHRI with no other electrical acssesorys.

Thanks in Advance for your Help.
John

My ride is an 04 EG - 61K = we both run gerbings when needed plus I also run a Garmin Zumo - No problems in the 61K

To prolong battery life - I Always plug in my Battery Tender when parked in the Garage - I swear by it - in helping ot proling battery life..

I can't remember what the stator on an '04 is rated at. 38 amps is what comes to mind, I know the new bikes are 50 amps. The Gerbing's site has the draw for each item listed, so it's pretty simple to do the math and figure out what you can get away with. IIRC, you need right around 12 amps to run a fuel injected Ultra.

Just went to the Gerbings web site and did some quick math... IF my wife had here liner and gloves on and I had my vest and gloves on - those totals are right at 15amps.... and I have an 04 - with your math above that puts me using around 27 amps and it looks to be good and I HAVE ran that with my GPS and never (as yet) had a problem...
