I don't do pic's of tires. There has been lots of pic's of tires already. And I don't know how to post them here and don't want to know. Be glad I said anything about this tire.

Put 200 miles on it yesterday and it was great!

Too bad on the pics, I've seen lots of pics of tires on bikes too but never a 175R16 car tire mounted on a pre2009 bike. Sure be curious to see how it looks on there... You've broken ground that some of us are very interested in seeing.. Oh well.

That squishy feeling is not all bad, you learn to like it and not even notice it. It makes for a softer, smoother ride and puts more tread on the blacktop. If you have never riden with a car tire before it is better to start with the max tire pressure listed on the side of the tire for at least the first 500 miles until the tire is broken in. Then reduce the pressure down a couple pounds at a time until you get to what you like best. 26 lbs is pretty low. I keep mine anywhere from 28lbs to 32lbs. 28lbs is great for solo riding, 30 with a passenger or with a load, and 32 when I have both a passenger and a load.

fedex dropped the Austone at my door today

great looking tire,, much rounder edges than my current Comtrac

wheels haven't shown up yet, but i'll post some photos when they're mounted ( but it's on a fatboy & not a touring model )

Kinda makes you wonder if he really put it on. Might be a cruel joke that makes a bunch of us buy tires we cant use.

okay, i'll be the one to ask the obvious question. being as this tire is better in gravel, dirt, etc, than the round profile harley mu-90, i'm wondering how this taxi tire would work on the front. i know that i have about 200' of gravel till i get to pavement when i leave my house. with the harley it's not too bad, but with my triumph rocket III and that big *** 240 rear tire, it's a wiggler on gravel. i'll likely sell the rocket, but was thinking that this taxi tire might also work great on the front wheel of the 08 and older glides, provided it wouldn't screw up the handling because of the square'r profile. just considering options here.

Some use car tires on the front, but most do not. There doesn't seem to be much of an advantage to it, if any at all. Give it a shot, I would be interested to know.
