My 06 UC is that way. I noticed it the first day I got it. At the Dealer it was up on the lift getting new pipes. I asked the Mechanic about it, And he said " all baggers are that way" So I looked around at some more. Sure enough, they were. He said it was because the right pipe had to clear something. He said , you hardly ever notice it when it is on the ground.
Have to live with it! Another HD Design Glitch Exposed!!!!!!!

The braket that the bag sits in is the one thats too high, the rubber inserts on the bag bottom sits right in it, the whole commotion is just a little high, no adjustment, stealer just shrugged, no fix. zzzzzzz

I don't believe that it is that way to clear a pipe or anything else. I don't believe it was done on purpose. I think it is a design screw up and they are saying it was done on purpose as if to stick a pacifier in your mouth.

Heard the same song and dance about my bags on my 06 RK. Took it back to the dealer for warranty work and they leveled it out the best they said they could. Right side bag lid still touches rear of seat. Will let extended warranty take care of issues in the future.

I had the same on my 01, and I just put some pressure on the mounts to straighten them out.
