matt, ive been waiting for you to post the new pics. the whole job is right on. skulls look great and match the paint job perfect, nice custom look without being cheezy , which happens way to much. the logo on the tank is the tank sets everything off. good choices man, im going to give my one opinion, when the tires dull, go back to black tires. white walls give a bike that classic look. and your bike is a beast now. great job man. if i had the money like you. there is no telling what would happen J/K-----jake.
Whiskers and Pastor John- Thanks for the compliments!
jpnelson1978-You know, I immediatley thought to myself when I got the bike back that it would now look better with new wheels and black walls. When these wear out I think I'm gonna put some Metzlers on and go to some type of solid rim rather than the spokes I currently have.
And for the guys who would like the price breakdown, the paint job was $2450 for the fenders tank and side covers. I am extremely happy with the work JE Illusions did and whole heartedly recommend them. As for the S&S Hot setup-the price is in the larger catalogs like J&P. I think it retails for $2319 without the cylinders and pistons. I used my stock jugs and bored them out and bought the pistons and oil cooler separately. Basically the engine build with labor was $5500 (this also included putting on some parts I had bought from HD such as new chrome calipers, chrome floating rotors and a few other odds and ends).
