Great news about the bike. You'll love it. I'm glad you enjoy our forum so much. HDF can be a big help when it's time to start adding all those mods. Stick around and have some fun with us.

Just about the same scenario as me two years ago; God bless her heart. Don't worry about the '07 "tranny problem." I just took delivery of an '07 Heritage and have had no issues with the tranny. Just make sure you have the ECM upgrade; which should be executed by then.

Oh man! You are so screwed! I heard all the 07 RK's built in Feb will have Chevy sized radiators, pastel colored paint, and spontaniously burst into flames when you go over 35 mph!

Ha! Just kiddin'! You'll love it! Welcome to the family!

Congratz. Take it slow, that's a lot of bike to handle for a new rider. Be sure to get a lot of saddle time, and learn how she rides, before you take anyone for a ride.

You'll enjoy it, believe me! Yer better half sounds a lot like mine. She's only ever ridden a Goldwing - over the past 10 years, we've covered a LOT of states on 'em. I finally got ta where I no longer trusted mah 1800, an' decided to return ta mah "roots". We visited the showroom fer a test ride, an' she found a purse she fell in love with. A coupla days later, I walked in an' told her ah'd jest bought the most expensive purse ever seen! Made the dealer toss the purse in with the deal, an' they took it outta the tour pack and handed it to her when we took delivery of our new UC. Sometimes, ya jest gotta be sneaky...[8D]
