Backrest pushing me forward.

I used to have an Electra Glide Classic with the Harley adjustable drivers backrest and loved the way it fit me. It had the gas shock for adjustment. I now have a Road Glide with the Harley fixed backrest. I have it set all the way back and have the set screw adjusted all the way back and it still feels like I'm leaning ahead rather than leaning back a little. Does anyone else feel this way and if so have you found a fix?

I bent the support rods back (with heat) and now the angle is perfect...easy job!

A friend of mine had the same problem, he put a bunch of washers under one of the mounting bolts and tipped it rearward to correct the problem. on my U C, I had to take it off, the metal upright was bruseing my tailbone from sitting on it. It was so bad that, I wore off the paint in less than 2 weeks.
