So, can somebody tell me why the MOCO thinks that the Limited is worth $2300 more than the regular Ultra? It has considerably fewer color options and you can't get it with those cool tubeless laced wheels either.
I've looked at the two bikes side by side and I can't see where they come up with that price - other than maybe just "bragging rights". Am I missing something?
The Limited comes with heated handlegrips, Stock with ABS and security . It also comes with Chromed wheels upgrades to instruments and luggage. It also has a top case luggage rack standard. I have not priced it but in Canada I know the ABS Security costs about $1310,00 . I like the paint treatment on the Limited better than the Ultra. I would think the chrome wheels would be a big dollar item if you wanted them.
Around here if you want to add ABS and Security to an Ultra you might as well get the Limited for about $800,00 more.
The dealers here cant seem to get enough Limiteds.

ABS, special gauges, heated grips, and luggage rack. I might be missing something else.
The ABS & Security package option is an additional $1195 for the Ultra. Other than that, it just seems like a few blingy goodies for the other $1105. I can't believe that those chrome wheels and different-colored gauges cost the MOCO much more than the standard parts do. The heated grips are something like $300 I think.
Before, some of the extra bucks went towards the 103 engine and an oil cooler etc. but this stuff comes standard on the Ultra now.
The numbers I'm refering to are from the MOCO site for both bikes in Vivid Black.
Now that all the bikes have a 103 the difference is really less
attractive.
In 2010-11 you got the 103 and the other things. Easily worth 2k
in my book.
You still have over 2k in additional options the others have mentioned.
In addition, IMO, you get a nicer paint scheme and sleeker looking fender
and bags ( without chrome bars ).
Hi,
just bought an ultra classic 2012 and looked this before buying.
Here in the UK we get ABS / security / oil cooler as standard.
The differneces were;
chrome wheels
Heasted grips
luggage rack
clock faces
and you DONT get saddlebag guards for your extra Ł2000 ($3k).
That why i went for the classic and spent my money on a rack ( $250) and the quick release TP kit which is great.

Nope, the Limited does not come with the rails. LOL I looked at 3 times before I noticed it, but I like the no guard look on mine. I think the extra money is worth it. Many people have commented on the chrome wheels. The handlebar warmers I said I would NEVER use, I have already used 4 times and I will never own another bike without ABS brakes.... Yeah they are that good!
