When I bought my Limited last April, it was the only way to get the 103" engine. Living in Phoenix, I never thought I'd use the grip heaters, and they are certainly not an option I'd add, but a few chilly mornings and a trip to the coast of northern CA/southern OR and I am glad it came equipped with them. Most of the limited colors are limited in production, I have yet to see another one like mine on the road. I also wanted ABS and security, and the oil cooler is a big plus - again, living where I do and it's above 100° from May-October.

No one has mentioned future trade in value. And those bag guards on the Ultra...UUUgh. Cheapest look I have ever seen. I bought an11 limited for many of the reasons mentioned above and removed the bag guards an installed the bag support. Cleans up ythe bike and gives it kind of a street glide look. Next to go is the light on the front fender.

We do not have the bag rails or a front bumper.

I think it's really about look more than options now. The limited can more easily look like a street glide detached to me.

When I started looking that the difference I didn't see a barging price with the Limited but could understand the cost difference.

1) Chrome Wheels, not the best looking wheel but better looking than Ultra and an additional cost to mfg.
2) ABS 1.5k option?
3) Fairing Vents $100
4) Security $400
5) Paint (opinion based ) Not sure its an additional cost to mfg
6) Luggage rack (additional cost) ?$
7) Gauges (opinion based) like em
8) Heated grips $300
9) Bag Liners $100
10) additional power supply $?

Like I said I dont think its a bargin but the cost is justifiable if looking for those options.
Oh and I almost forgot the most important option. NO Rails, I like a clean look and the side rail provides a clean look along with bag protection for that dreaded day. Haven't dropped my SG yet but when I do all I can do is suck it up and pay the price. Maybe I will have a new limited by then. If not Saddle gaurds are going to be added to my mod list.
