2012 RKC - Remove (hideous) plastic oil cooler cover?
Has anyone done this? I realize it could get hit by rocks, but the fins are exposed anyway. Seems like it just traps heat and looks terrible while providing very little protection.

Never really thought about it. Doesn't bother me. Very easy to remove. I saw a thread on this a while back. Some think the cover restricts the air flow. I don't think so. Guess you could get a chrome cover.

My jagg cooler sits right between the ends of the engine guard where it attaches to the bottom of the frame and I don't get a lot of debris hitting it with the huge front fender shroud. Its pretty protected down there and its made real tough, its far from a flimsy construction.
