I've done some searching on storage, but haven't come across info on the newer touring models with security. I usually pull the batteries and bring them into the basement, attaching a trickle charger in early spring before using, has worked well for me. But I just bought this '10 Ultra this year and was wondering if I pull the battery on this bike am I gonna mess up the security code or anything like that? Damn I hate winter and no, I'm not gonna ride on salty roads.

The battery will last longer if you keep it on a trickle charger whenever you're not riding. If you can, just leave the battery in the bike and hook the charger up.
Leave the battery in the bike and connect to the trickle charger. That's what I've been doing for years with no problem to the battery or alarm/siren. Bike starts right up come spring and don't have to mess with getting the battery back in the bike (a real pain in the ****).
