I'm wondering if anyone has the 80220 or 80240 Truck-Lite par36 lamps on their bike.
How do you like them , how's the beam spread?
I'm liking the Headlight so far , but I'm thinking of completing the set with them.
The 80220 just has bare leads and the 80240 has Harley connectors on them.
I'm running 4415A bulbs for being seen in the daytime , but 3 blazing lights would work also I think.
Let me know your thoughts on these please.

I bought them as a set with the headlight. They are very bright. More like floods than spots. Awsome during daylight. You do see the 8 led's so it has a different look. There's a guy on this forum who published an exhaustive study with pictures. Look for it. I like mine a lot.

here is the link for the truck -lite comparison.
I have the Truck - Lite headlight but opted for the Harley LED passing lamps because I like the look of them much better than TL. The TL passing lamps function better than Harley's during the day but IMO they look like cheap plastic crap when they are off.
I have Custom dynamics front and rear turnsignals (very bright) and a Brightass tail lite.
I was hoping they would be more like floods or fogs than spots.
Mainly I need side illumination for various critters large and small when away from urban lighting.
I do like the Harley light pattern as the testing showed , but for the price , the TL setup looks like a winner for price/performance .
I can get pretty good pricing through my local auto parts store , as I buy a buttload of parts daily from them for my shop.
Thanks guys
Mick
That comparison didn't include a Hella housing with 80/100 bulb, they're not the fad flavor whiteish, blueish, or purpleish light, but I could actually see road signs reflecting in full daylight. Bang for the buck, Hella wins hands down.
I know what you're saying fabrik8r.
I was running a Cibie E Code with an Osram Bilux H4 70/65 bulb before this.
The sad part of this setup is the beam isn't really "better" than the Cibie.
The Cibie High beam is better actually , incredible is more like it.
Unfortunately the bulb really did last about 300 hours like it stated when I purchased.
My reasoning for the switch was longer lasting , warrantee , color , and if you lose 1 or 2 leds out on the road , you still have a headlight to ride with.
I also wanted to save a couple amps for my charging system for heated clothing , as I'm getting older and I ride well into the cold weather.
