Front Rim
Not sure if anyone else has had this issue, my front rim started to get some staining on it all the way around the entire rim. i thought it was brake dust as it is a new bike. tried to clean it up and it seems to be imbeded in the rim. The back rim is fine, Go to the dealer and they tell me that it is from road salt. My next question is were the F@*k do i get road salt on my bike in the middle of the summer and if it is road salt why doesnt the rear rim has any indication of the same ****. They told me the waranty only covers one corrosion issue so i might as well use it on this problem and i found that kind of funny, only 1 time on corrosion, has there been problems. Anyway they take some pictures and are getting a hold of the warranty gods to see if they will cover it. This should be a no brainer on a 6 month old bike, only time will tell how good the waranty actually is.

If it looks at all like water spots and such, try some mothers aluminum polish to clean and protect the bare aluminum. I prefer bare aluminum as I can polish it, but it does require more woth than clear coated wheels.
