That doesn't make any sense. You can't get to the two head bolts located in the valley between the valves and the pushrod bores without first taking off the lower rocker box.

In the center of the rocker arm support plate there was 2 bolts holding the breather assembly down through the rocker plate into the head. My manual was missing that page and once I removed those 2 bolts I was able to get the rocker support plate off and finished up.
