Buy the shop manual for your bike and get the Metric Hammer out.

great to hear that you got it. I'm doing a 103 upgrade soon and intend to post so folks can point out potential issues. I'll probally get a lot of tips that I already know, but would probally also get some info I didnt'. Make sure you check your ring end gap as well as you valve to piston clearence. If your going forged pistons need to check your side gaps. if you had your jugs bored, need to get all the diamond dust out. If your going to also do a stage II, you'll need cam shims and highly recommend cam inner bearing replacement. If you doing a cam change to 255's, some -07 cams have the alignment dot in the wrong place. if you have side to side rocker shaft play, there are shims for that as well. Might also want to think about MCR's. There's a guy on ebay that does them for 125 a apair which includes MCR's and shipping back to you.

be sure you follow the order and torque sequences and all that important stuff too. It does make a difference. once you have the bottom rocker box half off take out the 4 head bolts and the head comes right off.

What I was missing was the 2 breather bolts in the middle of the rocker box. Thanks everyone.

No, you just needed to smack the head like fabrik8tr said. The only bolts holding the head on are the four head bolts; think about it.
