Default A/C problems

Just wondering if anyone has had any problems with the Arlen Ness super sucker air cleaner. It was probably a few months ago I got home from a ride and the football cover had moved against the tank left a not so nice scratch .It wasn't even loose ,I couldn't move it back to where it was suppose to be had to loosen it to do so.Today I washed it and got on afterwards looked down and one breather bolt was missing the other about ready to fall out.Maybe I should look into a different setup over the winter.

Never had mine come loose, the bolts in my big sucker kit came pre taped with locktight, just locktight them when replacing the filter and torque correctly. Bummer about the scratch

No issues so far with my AN Big Sucker. This winter may go with a Heavy Breather, but not due to lack of quality of the AN BS, just a cosmetic change.

With the floor boards, my leg would hit the heavy breather when braking. To be fair, I didn't leave it on long enough after the first time I have to brake quick and left a bruise on my shin.

Definately blue loctite your AC bolts, and snug them up too..not TQ-ed. Snug.
They stay secured better that way.
Run open face on the AC. That way you won't have to worry about the cumbersome football cover rubbin' into your tank. That thing is too big anyway..
