Joe, about how much would it cost to send all that stuff you posted above to get done? I have a vivid black SG tho, and I was thinking a matte black would give it kinda cool contrast.
sorry for the late response... we do not cure wtih UV, IMO that is a BS way of coating... we have a walk in oven we use. cure temp depends on the powder we are shooting and what coat it is. if you have any quesitons on pricing please shoot me a PM and i am more than happy to help you out!
I just powdercoated all the chrome on my vivid black road glide and it turned out great. here are a couple pictures, excuse the cell phone pics and fingerprints all over everythin
Blacked mine out with Powdercoat. If you need a name and number PM me. The guy that done mine traded my parts for his powdercoated ones. I was not down any, I payed for the powdercoat and he sent me his parts and when I swapped them out I sent mine back to him. Cant beat that in my book.
Thanks
Mark
I ordered all the engine pieces in wrinkle black from harley. Cost me about 750 bucks. I am selling all the chrome stock pieces on ebay. Should recoup at least half that money and there was no down time.
Get a plain black cover at aceze.com or J&P. I believe they both have them for quite inexpensive, although if you are powder coating, just coat them. Sned it all to Joe Knapp, he does an excellent job on everything.
