Default Shocks 2011 FLHTK

Want to drop 1 in. on seat. Tried lowering block kit on e-bay. Do not like the way she handles at slow speeds an turns at all. Will shocks 54662-09 or 54662-02A fit my bike and will it handle the same? Thanks

Put a SG seat on it. Or send your stock seat to MCC for the position you want. He can easily change it to drop you an inch and that way you don't affect the ride of your bike.

All touring bikes are built on the same frame so using Street Glide or Road Glide shocks that are 1" shorted should not effect the handling on an Ultra to a noticable amount. These 12" shocks are frequently in the parts for sale section at a reasonable price. Check the H-D site and compare rake/trail for Ultra against SG or RG, probably only a nominal difference you will not be able to detect riding or turning.
