+1, bought mine 3 weeks after the fact. Heck, they sell them for used bikes!

I'd only buy one if you plan on doing 10K+/year on it, I dont think it makes any sense for low mileage bikes.

Call this number and get the info from the horse's mouth...... (708) 623-6000 ext 107 (Chi-Town Harley Davidson)

You can get the extended warranty until the day before your factory warranty runs out.

I'm sure they would be more than happy to trade you back. I think you will find the Limited has depreciated in the last two weeks and your 05 has appreciated though. Should be no problem, except I wouldn't bend over while I was asking them about it.

The big expense might be taxes. Not sure what the story in NC is, but in MI, you dont get credit for the trade, you pay tax on the whole new bike. Painful.

[edit] Looks like you get trade in credit in NC.
