Zero problems with 3000 miles. Not any noisier than any other HD I owned before.

2010 Ultra Ltd, no issues or noise that you speak of. The engine is standard apart from intermediate SE mufflers simply as I don't like the shape of the standard ones.
Heat isn't really an issue in the UK so no point blowing Ł1000 odd

99.9% of these motors are fine. Forums just magnify any potential issue then everyone thinks their motor is a bad one. Just ride it man. If it's under warantee make sure you bring everything to the dealers attention and keep a paper trail.

I have a 2011 RKC (purchased new) with nearly 11,000 miles. I have no noise complaints. The engine radiates hot air when idling in the summer (answer keep moving). I overchange the oil (really all fluids) and have not noticed unusual odors or colors. I like the bike and do not intend to pre-worry about problems that have yet to occur.
