Default Need some input...

I currently have a Fatcat 2:1 with the concentric baffle on a 2011 RGC with the 103" option. I'm running the heavy breather from SE and a Power commander power vision with a map from Fuel Moto. The bike runs great, but here's what I'm feeling...

I feel like my bike has great low end up til about 4K rpm, then I feel like its being restricted by the concentric baffle...like I cant expel fast enough. Do I need to go to the standard baffle??

I feel like I might like the raspy sound from the standard baffle (hence the concentric) or at least I think it's raspy...that's what ive heard. Maybe some of you that have the standard baffle can chime in.

D&D says its very hard to pull the stock baffle and suggests its better just to purchase a new can...more chimes here too.

I would hate to buy a $500 can to not like the sound and end up selling the exhaust system anyway.

Should I cut my losses and sell the system before buying the standard baffled can?? I love the sound of the thunder header, and the pro pipe, just not the looks of them. Having the option to run a ghost pipe is a must as I don't like the look of a single can on a bagger. I do run the ghost for the fat cat I currently have and would have it any other way, so no 2:1 with out them offering a ghost pipe.

I would be open to a true dual system, but am afraid of lossing to much torque...more chimes please. I hear the Rinehart Extreme dual offer good torque...is this true?

Any ideas appreciated. Thanks

It could be as simple as needing a proper set-up on a dyno. That would help identify if there is a problem as you suggest.

The Concentric baffle is no good on a 103. The bike will run far better with the Wrapped Perforated baffle.

It's a 10 minute job changing baffles. Spray it down with PB Blaster, undo the baffle screw, beat the muffler on a 2x6 to drive the old baffle out, then slide the new one in.
