Anybody running one? Looking to change my AC this winter to a "forward facing type". Most likely I'll just get a SE Heavy Breather, especially since they now make the throttle cover.
I am doing PM wheels so I thought I would look at the PM intake also. I like its looks. Not sure how well it covers up the FBW throttle area though, or if the HD throttle cover would work.
assuming you have an 08+ model, that plug on the intake is ugly and hard to hide...you can get the bolt on cover-- but then that thing sticks out because it visually interrupts the vertical line of the rear intake pushrod cover.
to my eye, the H-D has so many swoopy lines, that the strong straight lines in the motor and trim really stand out- and if they are interupted by a cover of some sort, the eye hangs up on them.
but the thing I hate most of all is a front fender that has been dropped on the mounts, and no longer follows the same arc as the rotor, wheel, tire- ooops!
