These shocks are one of those rare happy surprises. Most add on products are a let down from their hype. Not these - they are great. I have the standard height version on my streetglide and like them best of all the various shocks out there. Great bang for the buck when you factor in the available 20% discount.
Been running the 12 inch premiums for close to two years, Picked them up off E-bay for $220.00, came of a 2010 CVO Street Glide. I'm just under 200 lbs and ride with them on the minimum setting and in two clicks when the wife is on the bike. Ride is acceptable with and with out the wife. Never bottom out.
When I can afford a set from Howard I may replace them but they are a vast improvement over the stock air shocks. also adjustment are quick and easy.
Is the adjustment **** accessible with the hard side bags installed?
no, you'll have to loosen the dzus fasteners, and lean the bag away from the bike to get your hand back there and then refasten the dzus pins. it isn't like it's hard, even with stuff loaded in the bag, and it's only on the one side.

They'll fit but HD doesn't recommend it due to possible flex in the swing arm due to preload only being adjustable on one side and damping being different between the left and right shock.
For that price, I'd throw a little more money in there and get a set of the base Ohlins from Howard at MM. You'll be much happier.
That's what I'm saving for and last time I got a quote, you wouldn't be looking at that much more money for a shock made specifically for you and your bike.
