for the money you cant beat it, wife got me the one with air lift, hardly ever use the air can pump it up by foot almost as fast as you can hook the air line up, my ultra sits on the lift when ever i'm not riding it I've had it for over 5 years and never had eny problem with it only thing I did was change the vice clamp to the rocker type
Thanks for the info: have to go to Casper, Wy Wednesday anyway ! Found the wheel chock listed but no side extensions ? Will call and make sure the lift is in stock.
+1 !
^^^I'm not sure that HF offers the extensions anymore...at least I can't find them online anymore just like I can't find the 1000lb air lift and the 1200lb air/hydraulic lift they used to have. Someone correct me if I'm wrong because I would really like the extensions.
Did a search just for some info on table lifts and found this thread. Thanks for the help. They have one here and I got it for $300.00. Now to sell my floor jack.
Bought one but had to then buy a Pingle jaws wheel chock and ditch the hf one.
Works great but I'd never leave it unattended in the air. I just don't trust it. However works great for my applications.
Just checked ALL Harbor Freight within a 300 mile radius( Nebraska, Colo, & Wyoming): NONE in stock, warehouse empty Sale ends 1/14 and no one knows when or if they will have anymore in by then. Salesman told me customers were buying 3 at a time ! Guess I will be crawling around on the floor for a little longer....
Lift is great. 5+inches off the ground so I took a couple 2x10's and screwed some 2x4 blocks through the face to make 5" tall foot boards on either side. with the HF wheel chock I can ride on with plenty of stability when my feet are on the footboards. Jack it up and store the footboards out of the way. It was to scary to load untill I did it this way.
I found a 20% off coupon and walked out the door with the lift and chock for $265. Make sure to use the safety rod in case the hydrolics bleed out.
Had nothing but problems with the harbor frieght lift, ended up spending the extra money on one form a local company best 600 i ever spent and includes the wings for extensions and quads or tractors. I wouldn't ever trust a touring bike on this again
I have had mine for 3 years. Always put the safety rod in and bleed the pressure off when I use it. Never a problem with. Sometimes the bike sits on it jacked up for a week while I clean a little here and there.
