Sitting at the dealership today awaiting for a front tire to be mounted, I saw this coupon and thought of all of you. I have this lift and it works great, especially for $299. You can't beat it and good until Jan 14, 2012. Just print out and bring to your local Harbor Freight.
There's a coupon in the latest issue of "Hot Bike". It has a softail bobber on the front with a gold/black peanut gas tank. They used to carry a 1000LB lift that was operated with air as well as a 1200LB lift. I can't find either of those options so I'm assuming they don't carry those lifts anymore?
Good luck with them. I had to have mine replaced twice before I forced them to return my money. Would lift my ultra maybe five times before just giving up. If you get the extended warranty and have to use it you must buy the warranty again to continue coverage. Save yourself the aggravation and spend a little more for an air lift.
A very useful add-on to consider are the 2 side extensions. When you roll the bike on the lift, if you're vertically challenged, your feet will barely hit the ground. Guess what can happen?
Plus once the bike is on the lift, there's not a lot of room for your tools.
Seen it in person with an Ultra on it and it's rather narrow.
I'm just sayin'.......
