Finally got to Ride
I said in an earlier post that I put on a power commander with the stock map loaded in it. I believed it improved my bikes performance and also dropped the rpm when I was running 70 mph. I removed the tuner and finally got a chance to ride to work to day. I put my Garmin GPS on, so I would have the speed showing(always thought my bikes speedo was off). At 70 mph on the GPS the bike is running 2900 rpms. I reported that at 70(using speedo)with the tuner installed the bike was running 2800 rpms. Guess I was imagining the performance difference, I know the bike ran a lot better with the tuner. I also found out, my Garmin won't charge using the USB adapter plug in the cig lighter.
