Cool good to know thanks. Once I get a couple hundred miles with the new fluids I'll see how it feels. Does seem a little strange already that the clutch does not disengage till close to 3/4 travel but again it's not like it's at the end of the lever release. Any ballpark specs on when that should occur with clutch lever travel distance before disengagment.
Try the 3/4 turn so you know what I am talking about then you will know just what you need to place the clutch disengagement right where your ant it. I have found with the 1/2 turn still leaves my clutch slipping in high gear rolling on the throttle hard. Glad your working on your ride and enjoying it that is the way it should be enjoyment in many facets. Bending the beautiful wife over is always pleasurable too!
I installed the AIM Variable Pressure Clutch and now can't use a box end wrench to tighten the locking nut. Do any of you know where I can get a deep socket with an open end so I can slide the Tee hex down and has slots on the side of the socket so I can tighten with a wrench, sort of like a spark plug socket but in 11/16??

I just used a deep socket and welded a handel to the side of it.

Just get a cheap 11/16 deep socket and grind 2 sides flat to get an open end wrench on, slide your Allen wrench thru it and you're all set.

i'm not sure if these are even sold anymore but they are called o-ratchet
and the socket and ratchet have a hole all the way through and you can stick your
T handle allen all the way through

Look thru your dads toolbox... before they started making those "peanut" plugs..all sparkplugs used an "11/16 socket... I think I even have one still laying around somewhere...

I took an old short socket and used a bench grinder
To flatten out two sides that I can use an open end
Wrench, if I remember correctly I made it to fit 3/4
