Hey guys, been racking my brain for a few months now. I have a 2005 road glide. few questions about wheels, aaaah i know another wheel thread.
I originally planned on running a 21" coastal moto wheel (front only) the one question i have is...Do i HAVE to lower the front? i know on the newer models you do or can i go with out on my 05?
aaand now, if i change and want to run the 19" agitator.... will my calipers work with the agitator floating disks or do i have to switch over too the the new style?
You don't have to lower the front end 1" if you go with a 21" front but most of our customers told us they prefer the ride once it was lowered. I am pretty sure your stock calipers will work with the agitator floating rotors as long as the rotors are available in your stock size 11.5".
you don't really need to lower it with a 21", my friend didn't do it on his RK. It ride well and you have a ground clearance gain. For agitator wheels, you'll have to swap to brembo brakes and rotors to put them on your '05
If you're still considering a 21" front, I HIGHLY suggest looking at Eastern Performance. I ordered a set of PM Paramount Contrast Cut Platinum last night with with matching floating rotors and tires for less than the cost of Hogpro or Coastal Moto brand packages (and way less than their prices on PM). 100% satisfied doesn't begin to describe me right now!

Was in there the other day looking and yea they have way better deals than most. Post pics when you get them on.
And what about Revtech wheels? they are cheaper than PM, looks very good too and you have contrast cut on it. I've got a Revtech Eliminator 7 and it looks pretty good under a black front fender.
