I use it in all my lawn equipment. If I don't the stuff won't run for long. This crap gas they sell now is real bad if you let it sit for more then a few weeks. I have been using stabil for many years.

Been using it for many years. But just don't dump it in the gas tank and let it set. After adding it to your fuel crank it up and ride it around the block so it gets into your fuel delivery system. The gas they sell now days will go bad on ya before ya know it.

Was just going to mention this. I've been using the red Stabil, but my friend said to switch to the Marine Stabil because of the ethanol in the fuel. Does everyone else agree?

I guess in some parts of the country you can only purchase ethanol blended fuel?

The mfr. of Sta-bil claims one year longevity for a standard dose, two years for a double, and my experience is that it works as advertised. I have some 18-month-old E10 in my mower now with a single dose of Sta-Bil and some Marvel Mystery Oil and it is still starts and runs fine. I'm a bit concerned about it staying in another six months, as the mower won't be used often during the winter, so I may siphon it and mix it with fresh gas in my main car.
It was in my '66 Corvette 'til about a month ago, where it also ran fine, and at that time I decided to freshen-up the gas. That car gets driven maybe 30-40 miles per year, so the gas needs to be siphoned and refreshed every so often. This time I used E0 gas, a double-dose of Sta-bil, and again with some MMO to help prevent rusting inside the tank. I'll probably leave it in for two years this time.
I wouldn't hesitate to trust Sta-bil in my MC tank over the winter, that is if we didn't ride all winter here
. If I did use it I would run the motor long enough for the mix to get into the injector lines, and heat the motor up thoroughly to burn-off any trace of contamination (water and acid) in the exhaust and oil.
