Actually added them to my Deuce. Don't see many like that.

I'm going to swap to the mustache style. I like the look without the crash bars, but I like the purpose of them more.

From some of the videos I have seen they do a good job if on the bike.

Videos of cycle police trainees, tipping the bikes over in a parking lot as part of training, I imagine to learn how to stand a down bike back up.

I am sure the saddle bag guards are a plus also.

I had thought about removing them but three weeks ago I got hit broad side by a 6 point white tail. I had zero road rash after a 100 foot slide on the asphalt. The eventual impact with the ditch totaled the bike and broke a leg and ribs. Without the bars it would have been much worse.

I have the Linby twin bar. Run 1/2 of time on, other half off.

I can't see myself taking them off. They protected the bike too much when I dropped it once. I might switch to the Kury ones

I think they look pretty stylish.

I had them on my Lowrider but had to remove them for forward controls. Found a set for a Wideglide that will work with the forwards, So now I've got both (forwards & crash bar). If you ever drop your bike you will be glad you have them.

Like the looks without them, but I'll never take mine off.

I like the classic look, and I likes my hwy pegs, and if it tips- dang - I got some protection.
Leaving mine on, just my preference.
