I ride solo and very much like the way a FLHTP looks. I tried different seats and came back to the Police Air Ride. It sets me back and up giving me room to stretch at 5'11". I lowered the back with Progressive 440s in 12", did the Progressive Monotubes in standard height, Screamin' Eagle Heavy Breather, SE stage 1 recalibration, XiEDs, V&H ProPipe, HD LED lights and stereo and speakers.
Thanks for the info guys! Keep it comin... The bike is a 2010 FLHP so the frame stabilizer isnt needed. Not that the true duals are for performance but I love the look and sound of the true duals and that's definitely what i want to do eventually. Thinkin comfort first for sure then I'll buy the rest for later. I've found some great info already!
IMO.....Thunderheader 2 into 1.......Fuel Moto download......Woody's Fairing w/ 10" Fast Aire Recurve windshield........AND THEN.....rack up the miles !!!!
if you want to sell the seat and brackets, pm me. i might be interested in it. as far as what you need to do to your new bike, ride it and while riding, think about what you want to change. remember it costs half as much to do it right the first time.
Nice, I live my 02 FLHPI. Just add what you want to and make out a priority list and stick to it. I stuck with factory headers then again I have the 103 with SE CAMS AND STAGE II Big Sucker. True duals are for sound only, but that is why it's your bike and nobody else's so do what makes you happy.
Seats already sold or I would sell it to you emwolb. Had it on C-list for about 3 hours and a guy came and got it. Sold it for 125. Still trying to sell the tach but not in a rush as i might find it useful later. Going to sit on a bike this afternoon at the local dealer that has 14" apes on it. As of right now comfort is priority 1 for me... even though this bike is pretty damn comfy compared to that yammie.
ride it, worse thing in the look department is the saddlebags, get a nice set of screamin eagle extended bags, they are $1800 primed from harley complete, I'll sell you a used set for half price. or get a tuner, mufflers and aircleaner and enjoy the 103
