Powder Coating Stock Mirrors

I would like to powder coat the stock mirrors on my EG. I am concerned that the baking process will mess up the mirror or the glue that holds the mirror on. Has anyone powder coated their mirrors before? I know I can by Harley black mirrors but would prefer not to go that route.

Any info is appreciated.

I thought the same thing and opted for obtaining black mirrors. Didn't want to bother with removing the glass and reattaching it.

Not sure about mirror glue, but the plastic friction insert for the ball swivel will melt.

That's exactly what happened when my buddy did his. Went in the garbage after that. I seen a set of black mirrors in the classified a couple weeks ago. Try doing a search.
