Default 2012 RG need lowering options

A Brother just got a new RG Ultra.
At 5'7" we need to get this lowered for him.
I'd like to consider all options available to lower the bike?

His wife is 4'10", cant reach the boards so that option needed too.

Search option used but not finding specifics for the lowering a 2012 RGU...

Thanx!

How much lower does he want it? You might look into getting a lower profile seat if all he wants to be is flat footed.

Lowering the suspension is the other route. I'd go with a shorter shock in the back and something like the Progressive Monotubes in front. Again, depends on how much he wants to lower.

For the passenger, I think Kuryakn makes adjustable rider floorboard brackets.

This might help for diminutive passengers:

Depends how low. I was tip toe on my EGUL. I added Harley Profile Lowers in the rear and a Reach (not super reach) seat. That made me flat footed. My EGUL sits lower than a SG now.

No idea on the wife issue. I am sure there are kits to move rear boards, but I am not familiar with them.

1.You can lower it almost 2" with shocks but it will effect the ride quality.
2. You can take almost 1.5 out of the seat and it will still be comfortable, look at C & C seats they are about 1.5 " lower and can move ypu closer to the bars.
3. You can narrow the fron of the seat to make it easier to touch with short legs
4. Drag Specialities and Fat Baggers make a new frame section that bolts in to replace the seat section that lower the seating area 3" with the stock seat and then if you added a lower seat it would be close to 5 " lower.
5.seems stupid but works use a good pair of boots with a 1-2 inch heel and thick soles

Start with a different seat.

It is the simplest modification of all.
