Question 06 sg

Having some problems with my motor don't know whats going to happen yet. I was wanting to know if a newer year model 96, 103, or a 110 would mount on my bike and if I would need to add anything different, like tranny since mine is a 5 speed

probably need the ecm to go along with it. did you look on ebay, sometimes you can find a complete driveline with ECM.

You used to be able to get an HD rebuilt motor for around $2500 exchange. Plus there's no advantage I've ever found to a 6 speed - my 5 speed gets the same mileage as any 6 speed I've ever ridden with.
A 120 incher would be lots of fun but that motor would be just the beginning of an expensive venture.

...I would stick with an 88...pick up a cheap used one off Ebay, and you know everything will swap over....might even luck out and fine a 95 inch all done up for short money...
