Hi all, a buddy of mine has an 06 eglide classic, and was wondering if he could drop in a 103 motor with a six speed tranny into his 06 frame. Will it just bolt up or will there be issues??
if he want to just install a late model engine and trans.
there are multiple issues.
if he wants to build what he has, engine needs to come out, cases split, new crank, bearings, etc. Not that difficult but could be expensive depending on what he wants done.
as to a six speed, easy enough to put a six speed gear set into his 5 speed case. So, for about 5 to 7 grand, he could upgrade his current parts to a 103 and a six speed.
