I am getting ready to order heated jacket and pants liners. I already have gloves, socks and an old HD heat troller with SAE connections. Does someone have a manual for the jacket where it lists the part #s for the adapters from the SAE power source to coax?
Not a answer to your question, but my nutty thoughts on pant liners. I do a ton of cold riding and bought all the heated items. Of all of them, pants were the last. I opter for the over pants instead of the liners. A bit more money but serves me well and better than liners in my opion. Many days, its cold when I start riding but warms up to the point that I no longer need heat in the pants. So much nicer to just be able to peel them of without dragging off the boots and jeans. And, no need for a set of larger jeans that will fit over the liners. Just my opinion but I thought I would share.
Thanks for the effort, but I have done my research and plan to get HD products, because I can get a decent discount. (It doesn't seem this is possible with Gerbing branded items). Dawg's link says female plug...shows a male plug....
I recall seeing a manual for the jacket with 3 adapters. Two are male and female and are meant for clothing links. One is made specifically for the link from the controller. I believe the part numbers were 98543-04v, 98544-04v, and 98545-04v and I think I need the first one. This is why I am asking for someone who has the manual ...to verify this.
