Ok, so here is the skinny. I recently bought a beautiful 04 RK classic. Couple of issues though....
1) it came with a Corbin 2 up seat on it. It's a great seat but won't work for me. It puts me to far back and a little higher than I would like. I am 5'9" with about a 30" inseam. I am looking for seat suggestions. Also, need something comfy for the wife as we ride a lot together.
2) It didn't come with a windhsield and I am already finding that I am taking a lot of wind when riding causing my hands and wrists some discomfort from holding on. If I'm thinking correctly the stock is a 20" that might work but I am thinking an 18" might be a little better based on my height.
I am look for suggestions on both and any insight on where I might buy without breaking the bank. I am willing to sell/trade the corbin seat that came on the bike.
I also went thru a few seats, the Harley Sundowner has been the best so far. No complaints from either of us. I'd look on Craigslist or Ebay for a used windshield. I believe Memphis Shades also makes good windshields. I cut mine down a few inches so I can see over it, but still hardly ever use it.
send your seat to MeanCity they will cut it down ad memoryfoam ajust your Siting position .. so its just right for you ,way cheaper than buying a seat .
THEY REWORKED MY STOCK 2008FLHRC SEAT . COMFEY ,, GOT MY FEET DOWN ON GROUND AJUSTED SEATING POSITION
