trikin? I'd really go with what the conversion kit manufacturer suggests

AFAIK, the 08 would be the 96" with the large throttle body, same front end & I think very similar front frame section as the 09+, although the motor mounts were changed for 09.
oil pan baffle is the old style, maybe you'd look into getting a baker drivetrain larger oil pan for the trike.
