Plug and play, nice and easy with adjustments. So is it as easy as they are saying? Are you guys having it pro tuned or going with just the maps like fuelmoto's? Anybody having problems? So any feed back will be great. I am unlikely to do any serious motor upgrades, although there is always that 10% chance. Thanks for any feedback as always!
That's one option. There are other choices. Depends what you want to do. Revolution Performance is worth a look for what your doing. They all have pros and cons.

Thumbs up

I have power Vision from Fuel moto and it is a great improvement over the fuelpak I was running. Milage and power good with map supplied by Jamie but I'm having some pinging on hard acceration. I contacted Jamie and he sent me a reduced timing map but the knock is still present. I plan to contact him again when I'm able to do some riding. Season over here for this year I wouldn't hesitate to recomend Fuel Moto

Mightynation, what is that makes it a piece of crap. I would like to know what you disliked about it. Did you run one? please elaborate on why you dislike it.

I know there is no way I will ever run around with a laptop with me. Also, a tuner around 700.00 is out of my price range.

I too am looking at the PowerVision. Had a TTS on my StreetGlide and it was great, but it was a pain having to hump along my laptop for every V-tune.
I cannot give any details without flaming everybody’s favorite sponsor. That is against forum rules and will get me banned so the answer is no, I cannot give any details. I made it clear in my statement I was giving my opinion, bold or not it is my opinion. You are free to disregard it.

Getting involved with that whole Power Commander/Power Vision muddle works fine for some people, you might end up being one of them, congrats if you do, or you could very easily spend hundreds of dollars and end up on your own with a piece of worthless crap.

I will try to tell a truth without flaming anyone. Do not forget what this forum is all about. For us it is where we go to share and get help. For the owners and the sponsors it is a business and the goal is to make money. Do not confuse what people do when telling the truth and what they do to advertise so they can get their hands on your money. Not everything you read here is truth. This forum is biased just like a casino is biased to favor the house, it is a controlled environment geared to steer your money in the direction they want it to go. I am not saying that is a bad thing, I am saying this is a business and it is run like a business which is fine and to be expected, if it were your business you would do the same. However do not make the mistake of thinking this forum is your friend and not a business.

Check multiple outside sources for information, talk to people who have experience with the product you need. There are independent shops and installers and users all over the country who have nothing to do with the companies that sell this stuff. There are many honest people giving honest opinions on this forum, their opinion may differ from yours but you can count on them to tell you the truth the way they see it. The difficulty is discerning who is who.

I think that you will definately lose some bottom end on the tru-duals.
I know this for a fact. A buddy put on tru-duals did and he lost significant bottom end.
His bike was cooler temp wise, but he lost some of the "git up and go" factor which he was not happy about.
The best pipe would be 2-1.

I vote NO, do not get a power vision. I never had one but I did have a PCV from our most honorable sponsor. All I can say is they never provided a map that worked anywhere close to what it should be, after about a year I gave up and got a TTS. The sponsor talked a real good show here on the forum and most people backed them up, but when I called to talk to them like they kept saying I should do, they gave me nothing but ****, blamed my bike and grudgingly sent another crappy map. The power vision might be a good product, I can't say one way or the other, but I would go else where to buy it.

I respect your decision to follow forum rules and not get involved. Since the sponsor doesn't manufacture the Power Commander and is only a ventor, it sounds more like your beef is with the sponsor’s performance, not the power commander. If it was only a Power Commander problem, it would be easy enough to comment on the product performance itself without mentioning the vendor. If the vendor or sponsor is part of the problem in your opinion, then you are correct to not comment. But that also means the Power Commander product may still be a good product among the many options.

Thanks for the input, all these tuners basically run together after a while. This is why it has taken me so long to do my stage 1. This stuff is crazy!

I've run PC3's and PCV's and although I have had no complaints, I switched to the Revolution Performance EMS and have never looked back.....
