Harley touring poll.
Really? I don't know about you, but I think it's about riding the best riding, most comfortable bike. Unless I'm missing something, you just said it doesn't matter if it's a better ride? Wow, how telling that is.
It's ALL about being a better ride. And it's beautiful from where I sit, when I'm tearing up the twisties with a much more nimble bike, and not fighting the crosswinds that effect the fork mounted fairing. And unlike some, I don't type just to see my words in print. I put a 32,000 miles in 37 months on my Ultra, in spite of three hand surgeries during that time. Only 500 miles so far on the new ride, but it doesn't take that many to know that, for me anyway, I find it a much better riding bike, and that is the bottom line. I think it's 100% about that, the ride.
The fugly thing, that I can just laugh at. But to say it doesn't matter if it's a better ride, that makes me laugh too, but for a much different reason.

Than as word of mouth spread about how good of a touring bike it was and a few people making hotrod baggers out of them they became a lot more popular.
For the life of me I can't understand why anyone would own one.

When my last Ultra was totaled in '09, I would not settle for anything less than the Road Glide with the new frame. I could not be any happier with the Frame Mount Fairing. I just did miss the Ultra equipment, so I ultralized my Road Glide. Now Harley has the Ultra Road Glide. But I still think that my Ultra Road Glide is just as good or better than the new Ultra Road Glides.
Wow, all you have left is the throw the gay thing out there.
That's OK, if I said something as foolish as "it doesn't matter if it's a better ride", I'd hide behind a grammar school insult too.
