Default GPS mount for fairing

I am looking for Mount for my garmin 200w that will mount on
my fairing . I have a 2007 SG and would like to have it mounted
about in the middle between tac and speedo.
Any ideas out there?

I saw a photo of one not long ago on this forum. It was a ball (for a socket mount) mounted right in the middle of the fariring above the gages. It took me awhile to figure out what it was in the photo and I can't remember the post but someone will probably be able to recall. Many of the mount bases will fit on a ball/socket type mount, that's what I have but it's mounted on my handlebars.

I bought this mount on Ebay, was less than $5, search for Sticky Vent Mount for GARMIN Nuvi 205W 255W 265WT 465T. It has an adhesive backing, I stuck it to my inner fairing but on the left side of the speedo. You could stick between the speedo and tach but I find to the left of the speedo easier to use as I can rest my hand on the bars for stability if I need to enter something on the gps. I too have the 200nuvi. Works great for me.

Here's a couple pics of the mount on my bike.. I don't have GPS with me but cradle is on the EBay mount so you can get an idea of how it looks.

It's been a couple of years since the pics were posted... does the adhesive hold the mount securely, even when it get hot?

Ibicycle2, to answer your question... Yes, the adhesive holds strong, even in our 100+ degree Texas weather. Been holding for the last few years with no issues.

I can't locate those on ebay with a "GPS mount for fairing" search. How did you find them?
