Default Leaking Airshocks

Hi Guys, I've just purchased a set of used airshocks off of ebay. When they arrived the box was soaked with oil. It looks like the hose must not have been pushed in enough. Are the shocks ok or am I screwed? Can I just put new oil in the shocks? I really hate to waste money like this. The seller takes no returns. Please help!

Why did you buy shocks on E-bay? Were yours leaking?
I bought a pair of Harley "LOW" (1/2" lower than standard) and paid a little less for the LOWS than standard ones, at the dealer. I bet you can add oil to the shocks...or have them repaired...but maybe you could them back on E-bay?
Depends on how much you bought them for and how much it will cost to repair/refill/rebuild.
Kind of tough, that e-bay.

Since there is no way of knowing how much oil was lost, better off draining whats left and refill.
There are threads here on how to do it.

No matter what you do to Harley air shocks, they are junk at best.
