H/D security system ??

What are the pros and cons of the H/D security systems . The salesman talk me in to it . But the order won't go in till tomorrow? So are they worth it ??

I really like mine! Gives me great peace of mind to know that the bike won't start if someone tries to make off with it. I also bought the siren, and think it's a great addition. All *heck* breaks loose if someone sits on the bike or tries to move it or bumps it too hard when armed. Highly recommended - a great investment. And.... my insurance went down $150 a year when I told my agent about it, so it pays for itself in a couple of years!

07's have a upgraded fob with no buttons , auto armed system when you walk away disarms when you walk back , well worth the few extra bucks.

The only problem I have heard is that someone lost their fob and obviously the bike would not start. Apparently this individual did not set up the manual arming sequence. I definately like it. One problem is if you left you keys and fob upstairs in the house and you just want to move the bike you have to either run in and get the fob or de-activate manually.

Only draw back is its so sensitive, It says fob arms after you move 12 feet away, mine arms soon as you turn bike off. Also if you forget and leave fob and roll your bike say out of the garage it goes crazy, jump off run find fob and turn switch on to reset. Its a great alarm, no **** is going to mess with it much before it starts to yell. Well worth the money, better than any after thought system.
