If your gonna leave it stock get the 09 if you want to build up the motor get the 06 it has a way better crank and rods then the 07 and up. Me myself I don't like the fourth motor mount in the new bikes to me it smooths the engine out kinda like the jap bikes I like the engine bouncing to me that it what a Harley should do

06 FLHX Black with 8k miles, stockish.
07 FLHX Cobalt blue with 13k miles, pipes.
09 FLHX Pearl Black with 40k miles, stock.
All are similar condition with no issues.
Hmm, I'm having a hard time dismissing the 09 because of the mileage. I've never ridden the new frame models and I'm itching to try it.
40k miles though..
If you like the 09 go for it, I'd go for that in a heartbeat compared to the others because of the upgrades for that year. But have a serious look the color a few times before deciding because that black pearl color is just wrong, looks like the primer bled through in certain light.
