I wouldn't mind having a CVO, certain factory items that are very unique, I know I would still put more $$$ into the bike. Problem with the CVO's I've seen in my area is that the stealer wants the first few extra $$$$ you spend to go straight to their pocket, hard to find one at MSRP, usually MSRP plus 3-4K and then shipping etc, so you're looking at about 37k.

You may want to try Treasure Coast H D in Stuart FL. I'm sure you can pick a CVO there for MSRP + dealer fees, reg and tax. If you need a point of contact let me know.
I recently walked into my local dealership, and just as I was getting close to the front door, out of the corner of my eye I saw the most beautiful stock HD I have ever seen.. I had no idea what the heck it was, and upon inquiring, it was 'the skunk'. I would have traded my bike for it in a New York minute, and think about that bike every day. If I had known that I would never see the $$ I put into my bike in the aftermarket, I would never have done it, and gotten a CVO. Now, I am stuck, and not willing to take a $10K+ hit, even though I could afford it. At a certain point, I have to be smart, and continue to prepare for hard times / the future, especially considering that I have one of (what I consider to be) the nicest RK's around. If you can do it... please get it... more of those beautiful machines need to be on the road! And.. if you see some drool on the rear fender, that means I was probably looking at it a little too long...
