Me being new to HD, I have to ask. I'm getting ready to order my iron bags. They also have winter fronts. Will I only want these in cold weather, or will I be able to stand them all year?, I do know how much heat my RK will generate, or if air gets around or to the inside of them. I like the idea of the inside pockets they can add.
You do NOT want those on unless the temps are in the 40s or below. Your motor needs air circulation. They get hot enough by themselves, they don't need something out there blocking all the air.
They'll be great in the winter for blocking rain and wind from hitting you. But let the air get to the bike in the warm weather.
that's about what I expected, thanks for the clarity. In the 350 miles I just got in on 50 or below weather, I noticed heat, making me wonder how hot in the summer. At least I'm kinda prepared, the Valkyrie is pretty hot.
