Just to stress it once more – this is COMPENSATING sprocket, not anything else, and it functions exactly like SE comp but being smaller and lighter.

I've had mine on for over 8000 miles and it's all good. No more noise at start up, pretty smooth running and taking off. I'd do it again on another bike if I had to.

I have the solid sprocket... no comp. I have about 10k miles on it, with no issues. Its so much smoother taking off and shifting... very noticeable! Its my opinion that this should last a long long time as long as your not beating the hell out of it. If that's how you ride, you may want to weld the crank.

What do you have? Solid sprocket? No comp? I'm doing a 110 and I'm looking for a fix to the comp problem I've considered a solid engine sprocket but I'm concerned if there are any negative consequences I would have to live with. Vibrations, noises, something else breaking like the starter components.

I've been looking at the Vulcanworks solid sproket, I've heard nothing but good things about it so far.

The BDL is a great piece, and doesn't hurt the wallet too bad. I love mine.
