Default Stock Rotors ,,, Question

Can you Polish your Stock Rotors to get a almost Chrome Look ??

If so please give details..

yes you can your best bet is to use a DA sander you start with a more agressive sandpaper to get the score marks out then gradually move up in grit size when u hit the 1000 mark you can move to wet sanding then eventually you can buff them with polishing compound...

everything posted is correct , but make sure you get stainless polishing compound, normal compound for paint will not touch it.
It will be a ton of work , I bought polished ones of ebay for about $120.00

I think most dealers offer a swap out program....you bring your rotors in (within spec) & pay some for the pollished rotors...

Wily shiny has an Exchange as well. 75 a rotors I believe

Consider having them chromed. The polished look good for a while, but never as good as chromed.

Had my stock rotors polished when I chromed my front end. 2 years later still looking good

Chrome rotors do not stop as well as polished though. Something to consider, ESP if you have ditched one rotor already to go single sideded.
