I would buy a "preowned" 2011 Ultra or Limited.It would still have the factory warranty and be a lot less $.

For that money he could buy a nice low mile used bike and put a big badass motor in it.

Yea Im going to try and talk him out of it !!!
Buy a new bike or a used 2010 -2011!!
But hes the kind of guy when he wants something no matter the cost he will buy it!!

I think he could find a 09 or newer CVO for not a lot more money. I saw a 2012 CVO ultra with 1100 miles on it for sale the other day. $30,000. There are deals out there just have to find them. The 2009 and above 110" motors appear not to have as many problems as the 07/08's. I'd keep looking. CVO'S are nice bikes.

I would not buy a used '07 or '08 CVO bike.
I would buy a 2009 or newer used CVO bike though.
