Default Impressed so far. . .

So I opened my Christmas gift early (thanks to the wife) when I returned from out of town. I ordered a Stage 1 from Fuel Moto consisting of the 4" Jackpot (slash-ups), the PC5, and their A/C. Unfortunately, I only had time to put the Jackpots on (the friggin' stock mufflers gave me a nice workout trying to wrestle them off. I felt like I had been during wrist curls at the gym). Anyways, the sound improvement was obvious on my 2011 Street Glide (cat intact). Prior to this bike, I had a Fat Boy Lo w/ Thunderheaders. While I loved the sound, it was too loud from me after more than an hour. I only rode around the block for a mile or so but I like the bass type sound like the thunderheaders but it doesn't sound as penetrating to my eardrums. The week will be busy so I hope to install the PC5 and A/C next weekend. I can't wait!

So far so good. . .

Default They sound great

I got the same mufflers also. Couldn't believe the sound first time I fired them up. Had an issue with them though. Shortly after install, probably about 1000 miles on them, I was warming the bike up and looked down and the right muffler was shooting bits of little string out it. FM came good for it right away and sent up a new big cloth bag which I have to figure out how to install, next spring I would think. Their service is great but they never heard of my problem before. Next is SE-204 cams and a TTS.

I wonder if your bags make some difference in blocking the sound from getting back to you?? Oh well, just a thought. Are you going to leave the stock head pipes with CAT on?
