ive heard the harley speakers on the lids and they sound pretty dam good to me but they are expensive $522.00 but anything u buy from harley isnt cheap.
I looked at those as well but I like the flat look of cycle sounds. They dont really stand out.

I was thinking the exact opposite. I liked this because they do stand out. The speakers are angled up and tilted in so the sound is directed right at you. That's gotta be good.
Also, I read somewhere about oval speakers being not so good as round speakers. A waveform is spherical so the speaker ought to be spherical in shape to create the waveform. Just makes sense.
I don't think the 7.25 will sound as good as 6x9. I have the J&M 7.25 and not overly impressed, I think a 6x9 has better bass and would sound great using the bag as a box.

I wonder if anyone actually likes thoes 7.25 j&m's, or if just the people who don't like them say so. I've been reading a lot of threads on speakers and amps and have seen lots of flack against them. I thought they looked pretty good myself, but now.... I'm thinking twice.
